Our Approach

Why Now - Biofuel Evolution

Why Now?

The trend for decentralised models and localised solutions that will support the sustainable development of communities regionally and globally is growing. There is an increasing demand from consumers and the public for sustainable and ethical goods, and from industries to decarbonise. The road to net-zero by 2050 is looming and we must take action now.

Our model has 3 stages to generate early revenue. First, we design, engineer and license our proprietary microbes that adapt to waste-based feedstocks. The second and third phases encompass designing and installing our decentralised reactors on existing infrastructure or in the vicinity of our end-user’s manufacturing plants.

Stage 1:
Microbial Strain Development Technology

Leveraging the transformative power of artificial intelligence, adaptive evolution and synthetic biology tools to design and optimise microbial strains and consortia to break down waste-based feedstocks including those traditionally considered difficult to handle and treat.

Physical and Biological Processing - Biofuel Evolution

Stage 2:
Physical and Biological Processing

In this stage, we focus on the physical and biological processing of waste. This involves the design and build of the Cavitation (Pre-treatment) and Bioreactor (Fermentation) unit, which will be installed and retrofitted at our industrial partners’ sites, to help reduce their operating costs and greenhouse gas emissions as well as meet impending sustainability regulations.

Stage 3:
Carbon Capture and Conversion Reactor

The final stage encapsulates the circular nature of our solution. This involves the design and licensing of our Carbon Capture and Conversion reactor and a Microbial Fuel Cell, making use of all waste products that emanate from our processes to create value-added products.
