Dr George Manos
Carbon Capture and Conversion Consultant
Dr. George Manos graduated from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1984.
He worked as a postgraduate research assistant at the Technical University of Berlin on wood liquefaction and then moved to the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany for his PhD in catalytic reaction engineering which he obtained in 1989.
Dr. Manos worked as Production and Development Manager of Metal Deco Products in Vivechrom, a member of the Akzo-Nobel group. He then moved to the UK to work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UMIST and Lecturer at South Bank University.
Dr. Manos joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at UCL in 1998 and is currently a Senior Lecturer. His research interests are in catalysis, novel technologies and methodologies beyond the traditional chemical engineering domain; novel material processes, chemical processes for microelectronic fabrication, reactor design, supercritical fluids and systematic approach in product design.
