Jaymish Patel Biofuel Evolution

Name: Jaymish Patel (MSc, BEng)
Position: Co-founder and Managing Director of Biofuel Evolution Ltd

Jaymish is a chemical engineer, an innovator and a member of the IoD 99. He acquired a BEng in Chemical Engineering at Aston University in 2013 and in late 2016 he obtained an MSc in Chemical Process Engineering at UCL, his chosen research project focused on the design of an ammonia-hydrogen fuel cell system. Jaymish has previously worked at KBR Inc and has volunteered for the IChemE’s Diversity and Inclusion Working Group (DIWG) to help address the issue of inequality in the engineering industry. In 2015, before embarking on his MSc, he completed an Open University course in elements of renewable energy. He was recently part of the Natwest Entrepreneur Accelerator programme based in London representing Biofuel Evolution.

Viral Patel Biofuel

Name: Viral Patel (BEng)
Position: Co-founder and Operations Director of Biofuel Evolution Ltd

Viral is a qualified Chemical Engineer, passionate about making a positive impact on our world and an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. He obtained a BEng in Chemical Engineering with an Industrial Placement Year at Genesis Oil & Gas Consultants from Aston University in 2013.
Viral has previously worked in the pharmaceutical and oil & gas industry for the likes of Aptuit, Bio Products Laboratory (BPL), Public Health England, Fluor, Genesis Oil & Gas Consultants, KBR Inc and WorleyParsons.

Chike F Oduoza Biofuel Evolution

Name: Chike F Oduoza (CEng, FIChemE)
Position: Research Adviser at Biofuel Evolution Ltd

Professor Chike F Oduoza is a chartered engineer and fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. He obtained a PhD in Instrumentation and Control from UMIST Manchester (1988) and MBA from Exeter University (2000).
He was a former chairman of UK Society of Chemical Industry (SCI), Electrochemical Technology Group (2006-2010), member of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Peer Review College (2005-) and recently appointed evaluator for Horizon 2020 EU framework programme for research and innovation. Professor Oduoza has won three industry case awards (for PhD Studentship) from Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
He is author and co-author of book chapters, 135 publications including journal papers and refereed conference publications and has supervised 16 PhD theses to completion. Professor Oduoza’s research interests are in chemical and manufacturing engineering where he is involved in a variety of activities including waste to energy research focused on electricity generation, pilot plant and reactor design.

Sepehr Kavian

Name: Sepehr Kavian
Position: Engineering Manager

Sepehr has over a decade of experience in the energy, specifically Oil & Gas amongst technology providers and engineering consultants. He has held several different technical and non-technical roles in various projects and phases of project life-cycles spanning from feasibility, technology and concept development through to FEED, Detailed Engineering, Commissioning and facility operations.
Sepehr has a solid track record of management and an engineering background gained through collaboration with well-known international Oil & Gas companies such as Compact GTL, Fluor, Petrobras, WorleyParsons and TCO (Tengizchevroil, a joint venture between Chevron, ExxonMobil, KazMunayGas and LukArco).

Heemesh Jadav

Name: Heemesh Jadav
Position: 
Global Business Development and Commercial Manager

Heemesh Jadav has over 7 years of combined experience across Business Development, Management Consulting and Engineering sectors. He brings a proven track record in both economic and technical market development strategies.

He has worked with a wide range of International and National Oil Companies, Engineering Procurement Contractors and Local Governments.

Biofuel Evolution are continually seeking experts in their chosen field that will facilitate the drive for further innovation and help the company evolve into a clean energy power house.
